Sightmark Night Vision Reviews

Sightmark is a big company that has been steadily growing. Located in Texas they produce a very wide variety of different optics and different pieces of shooting gear. They are a brand that is associated with quality and affordability. Sightmark has reached into producing a wide range of night vision optics. They’ve actually taken the time to design unique night vision optics that cut weight and size without cutting quality. The Sightmark night vision scopes are also priced perfectly for someone new to the market and looking for their first night vision device.

What Sightmark night vision device should I buy?

Good question, because here seems to be an option for everyone. Instead of having you chase reviews around the net I figure I’ll include a little bit of everything here. My review is a total Sightmark night vision review, I’m going to cover their night vision scopes, monoculars, and their binoculars.

Sightmark Photon Digital Night Vision Scopes

Sightmark scopes are quite popular, and for good reason. They work. This reputation doesn’t end at their day scopes, though. The Photon Digital Night Vision scope is a good example of what Sightmark can do. The Sightmark Photon Digital Night Vision scope gives greater clarity than a Gen 1 standard night vision optic. However, it’s priced at Gen 1 prices. This scope series is actually quite unique. The slim line construction reduces bulk and reduces weight. The Sightmark Photon is between 20 and 30 percent lighter than comparable night vision devices.

The series feature one with a max magnification of 4.2x and another larger system with a max magnification of 6.5. The objective lenses are 42mm and 50mm respectively. The 4.2 Sightmark night vision scope allows the user to see 120 yards, and the 6.5x model allows users to see up to 200 yards. At these ranges, a hunter or target shooter can easily engage a target at night.

These night vision scopes provide a variety of different reticles for different weapons. This includes crossbows and firearms. The reticles allow the user to compensate for bullet drops or different power crossbows. Both Sightmark night vision scopes have a video output option for recording shots. These are lightweight, crystal clear, and easy to use digital night vision scopes.

Sightmark Ghost Hunter Night Vision Monoculars

The Sightmark Ghost Hunter is a series of two monoculars that can be used as incredibly effective spotting scopes. These monoculars come in two flavors, 4×40 or 5×60. The wide objective lenses are excellent at gathering and amplifying light. You can see across an impressive distance with these monoculars, especially when they are combined with their attached IR illuminators.

Sightmark Ghost Hunter Night Vision Monoculars Review

The Ghost Hunters are excellent for observation. They present an extremely clear picture back to the user. This makes game watching or even security observation possible out to two hundred yards. They are even equipped with an emergency shut off when exposed to bright lights. This avoids damaging the internal vacuum tubes.

Magnification often makes looking through an optic freehand difficult. This is no different with Sightmark’s night vision scopes or monoculars. Luckily, Sightmark planned for this and included a tripod mount compatible with the vast amount of camera tripods. During my Sightmark reviews, I’ve found a consistent string of Sightmark taking care of their customers.

Sightmark Ghost Hunter Night Vision Binoculars

The Sightmark Ghost Hunter night vision binoculars share the same name as the monoculars because they use similar technology. Of course, the main difference is two optics and not one. The Ghost Hunter binoculars are perfect for extended night time observation while moving. Monoculars are great, but when hiking and moving at night, binoculars are often an easier to use and more convenient option.

Sightmark Ghost Hunter 4x50 Night Vision Binoculars Review

The Ghost hunter binos are made from a strong polymer material which reduces weight and is extremely strong. Like the Sightmark monoculars they automatically shut off when exposed to bright light. They use simple AA batteries, which make using it affordable and the batteries are easy to find.

The combined use of a high quality glass, and high-quality night vision components deliver a magnified image with a near crystal clear presentation. You have a crystal clear image out to nearly 200 yards, and the use of illuminators can extend the range or improve clarity. The Ghost Hunter binos actually come with a LED IR illuminator, so out of the box you’re ready to go with Sightmark’s night vision device.

On the Mark

Regardless of what route you go, you’ll be satisfied by Sightmark. Be it a Sightmark scope, monocular, or binoculars. Sightmark night vision devices are well made, efficient and effective pieces of gear. Hunters, shooters, and nature lovers have a bulletproof option with Sightmark.
